 
David Mark is a senior editor at The Politico. He is also author of the highly acclaimed �Going Dirty: The Art of Negative Campaigning,� published by Rowman & Littlefield in March 20006, and released in paperback in March 2007.
David was formerly editor-in-chief of Campaigns & Elections magazine, which covers the business and trends of politics. David was previously a reporter for Congressional Quarterly, on Capitol Hill, and the Associated Press, in Tallahassee, Fla.
David earned his B.A., cum laude, from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, in 1995. He earned a M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 1997.
He is a widely-quoted political analyst for television and radio stations, Web sites and print publications. His October 2006 appearance on �The Daily Show with Jon Stewart� won wide notice and praise. He is an oft-quoted political authority in all media forms.
In May 2004 the U.S. State Department sent David to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji to deliver a series of lectures about current trends in American politics and the 2004 elections.
